SECONDARY - Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah School

On 22 Zulkaedah 1425 Hijrah corresponding to 3 January 2005, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Secondary School started operations.

The establishment of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah School Complex (comprised of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Kindergarten or TASKA, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Primary School and Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Secondary School) represents the foundation involvement in offering educational services at the kindergarten, primary and secondary school levels as a contribution to the development of education and manpower in Brunei Darussalam.

Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Secondary School comprises of lower secondary and upper secondary levels:

Lower Secondary (Year 7 and Year 8) students follow the SPN21 Curriculum. In Year 8, students will sit for the Student Progress Examination (SPE), after which they will be streamed to either Express, Science or Arts stream.
Upper Secondary (Year 9, 10 & 11) students will proceed to a 2-year or 3-year programme depending on their stream. At the end of Year 10 (Express) or Year 11, the students will sit for BC-GCE ‘O’ Level Examination.
